Full Packing or Part Packing
You don't have to pack everything or nothing. We offer two options:
Full packing: we pack your entire home, room by room, from wardrobes and books to the contents of every cupboard. Ideal if you're short on time, juggling work and family, or moving a larger property.
Part packing: we handle the awkward, fragile and time-consuming items (kitchen, glassware, pictures, electronics) and you pack the simple, non-breakable things like clothes and linens. A good middle ground that keeps costs down while protecting what matters most.

Both are valid. It comes down to time, what you own, and how much fragile kit needs protecting.

How We Protect Your Belongings
We use the right materials and packing methods for different types of belongings, helping reduce the risk of damage while everything is being moved.
Fragile Items
Glassware, china and ornaments are individually wrapped and packed into dish-pack boxes with dividers.
Pictures and Electronics
Mirrors, pictures and electronics are padded and boxed so they stay secure and do not shift in transit.
Clothing and Furniture
Wardrobe boxes keep hanging clothes protected and crease-free, while quality protective materials are used throughout the packing process.
We use quality double-walled boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper and tape on every job. These materials and methods reduce the risk of damage in transit. We also carry goods-in-transit insurance on every move as a backstop if something unexpected happens.

How Packing Is Priced
We don't quote packing prices blind. Every price is based on a free survey. We assess the volume, the number of fragile items, and how much of the packing you'd like us to handle. You receive a fixed written price before you commit. No estimates, no add-ons on the day.
Property Size
The size of the property and the overall volume of belongings affect how much packing time and material is required.
Fragile and Specialist Items
Glassware, pictures, electronics and other specialist items can require additional wrapping, boxes and preparation.
Full or Part Packing
Part packing costs less because you're doing some of the work. A full pack covers the whole property.
Your quote is based on your actual move. Tell us what you'd like us to pack during the survey and we'll give you a clear fixed written price before you book.

What does a packing service include?
We wrap and box your belongings using quality protective materials, labelling every box by room so unpacking at the new address is straightforward. You can choose a full pack (whole property) or a part pack (fragile and awkward items only).
Do you supply packing materials?
Yes. Materials are included in the packing service price. If you're packing yourself, you can buy boxes and materials directly from our Colwick depot or have them delivered for a small fee.
When do you carry out packing before a move?
Usually in the days before moving day, depending on the size of the property and our availability. Packing ahead of moving day keeps the day itself on schedule.
How do you protect fragile and kitchen items?
Glassware, china and ornaments are individually wrapped and placed into dish-pack boxes with dividers. Mirrors, pictures and electronics are padded and boxed so nothing moves in transit.
Is part packing more economical than a full pack?
Yes. You're doing some of the work, so the labour cost is lower. The exact price depends on what you'd like us to handle; we'll confirm it in your fixed written quote after a free survey.
Do you pack and move on the same day?
We can. Because the same team packs, loads and unloads, packing flows straight into moving day with no handover. If your dates don't align, we can pack into our Colwick storage and deliver when you're ready.
What items can't you pack?
For safety reasons we can't pack hazardous goods, flammables, aerosols, gas cylinders, perishables, plants, cash, jewellery, passports or prescription medicines. Please set these aside before packing day. Ask at your survey if you're unsure about a specific item.
